Mazovia: Palace in Niegów

Poland's rural cultural monuments are often well hidden: the palace in Niegów from the end of the 19th century was built for the Ihnatovich family, which belonged to the Polish minor nobility. Today, both inside and outside, the palace does not correspond to the original conception. Since the 1930s it has been owned by a religious congregation, which has rebuilt and extended the building several times to suit its needs. However, the palace and the park are registered in the Polish register of monuments.
