Looking back: In summer 2025, we spoke with designer Urian Hopman, who moved from the Netherlands to Poland many years ago and brought a long-abandoned inn back to life at the foot of the Giant Mountains.

We are pleased that his Boutique Hotel Taras Tarczyn has now been passed on to new owners. Urian himself has since moved on to Italy, where his next, smaller house project is already waiting.

Going viral, reach, clicks: social media figures are often vanity metrics with little real meaning. A property listing can generate 100,000 views and remain unsold after a year. Another may not even reach 1,000 views and find a buyer within four months.

Public statistics can lead to misleading conclusions in either direction. That is why the highlighted metrics can now be hidden either as a global profile setting or on a per-listing basis.

Without a setting, the statistics remain publicly visible. For software integrations, a custom Boolean field show_public_stats (true/false) controls visibility for each listing.
