The 12th-Century Medieval Templar Commandery

History

The first traces of settlement date back to prehistoric times, but the village as it stands today took shape during the Middle Ages. The commandery was built at the end of the 12th century by the Templars. The Hérault region has long been marked by the strong presence of the Templars.
