Manor estate for restoration in West Pomerania

Nestled in the heart of what was once the Pomeranian manor village of Schöneberg, Krąpiel is home to the distinguished heritage-listed estate Pałac w Krąpielu — a remarkable ensemble comprising a 19th-century palace, an outbuilding, a lake and extensive forested grounds. 

This unique offering includes the two-storey manor house, an additional outbuilding located on a separate plot, a pond, and a large area of private woodland. The main estate occupies a plot of 83,055 m², while the total usable floor area across both buildings is approximately 2,500 m². The outbuilding currently houses 22 partially completed hotel rooms with en-suite bathrooms. 

The palace itself is partially restored. Concrete staircases have been newly installed, a covered restaurant and banquet hall has been added, new sewer lines laid, and some of the old ceilings removed. Plans for the interior include a kitchen in the basement, a restaurant on the ground floor, and guest accommodation on the upper level. 

The outbuilding, a two-storey structure with a basement, has been prepared for use as a hospitality facility. It features a reception hall, dining area, kitchen, boiler room, sanitary facilities, hotel rooms, and apartments upstairs. Decorative ironwork with rose motifs adorns the stair railings, and the restaurant terrace offers a view over the lake.

The adjacent woodland plot extends to nearly 9.7 hectares, offering both privacy and natural charm.

All restoration work on the palace has been carried out in line with official heritage conservation requirements. The outbuilding, however, is not subject to heritage restrictions.
