For sale is a small castle on a rock (until 1945 "Schloss Neidburg") in the Polish Lower Silesia Voivodeship.
Rajsko Castle is a locally unique property in a solitary location on a steep granite hill between the lakes Złotnickie and Leśniański and on the right bank of the Kwisa River. Originally, a fortress stood here. In 1863, the art collector and Italian Count Alexander of Minutoli was enchanted by this place and rebuilt the dilapidated fortress in a modified form using Tuscan elements.
After World War II, the castle fell into ruin for years until the current owners began reconstruction in 2010. In 2014, the renovation works were completed, and since then the property has served as a boutique hotel with exclusive use of the entire property.
The castle consists of three buildings:
- Main building with knights' hall on the first floor, library, multimedia area, kitchenette, toilet and an apartment with bathroom on the second floor.
- Chalet building where there are 4 suites with private bathrooms, furnished with great attention to detail. There is a professionally equipped kitchen (dishwasher, Smeg oven, Villeroy & Boch ceramics) with dining area, a relaxation room with access to the panoramic terrace and a wine cellar. There are also rooms equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Oiled wooden floors in the rooms, stone floors and walls in the bathrooms, including black calcite (underfloor heating). Modern design radiators, lamps, switches and other details are a unique combination of historic furniture and contemporary trends. The 19th century bricks used in the restoration and the wooden elements combined with natural stone give the interior a modern loft style. Double-glazed wooden windows. The building is insulated and plastered, the roof is double protected (full boarding + tar paper on this grate and ceramic tiles, insulated with 20 cm of wool). 76 stone steps lead to the tower viewing terrace overlooking the Leśniańskie Lake. In the distance you can see Czocha Castle (about 6 km) and Śnieżka.

The terraces with wooden furniture and fireplace are ideal for evening events and offer the possibility of relaxation and observation of nature and landscape. The area of the property, located on a steep cliff, is 2,500 m². The area of the buildings is more than 600 m², plus a little more than 100 m² of terrace area. At the foot of the rock flows a stream, on the other side the river Kwisa. Access to the castle is only from one side via a paved path that leads to the castle gate. This provides exceptional privacy, and since the rock is surrounded on all sides by lush vegetation that encroaches on the property, the air is incomparably fresh.
The castle is currently only rented as a whole. British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran spent a vacation here as a celebrity guest in the fall of 2018.

Rajsko Castle is located in the Lower Silesia Voivodeship, near the small village of Zapusta. There is connection to the A4 highway is 25 km, to Jelenia Góra - 35 km, to Wrocław - 170 km, to Berlin - 250 km, to Prague - 160 km. Nearby ski slopes on the Polish and Czech side: Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba, Szpindlerowy Młyn, Harrachov. In summer you can go hiking, cycling, golfing, swimming and sunbathing here. Nearby there are numerous mysterious castle ruins and as an additional tourist attraction the magnificent Czocha Castle.
