Over the centuries it was contested between Città di Castello and Perugia. Following partial abandonment in the mid-20th century, the hamlet has been carefully restored over recent decades.
The hamlet comprises eight residential units with approximately twenty owners in total. Commercial use — including short and long-term letting — is not permitted; use by owners and their guests is unrestricted.
