Villa Gianna in Oggebbio is a late 19th-century estate located directly on the shore of Lago Maggiore, set within over 13,000 square metres of mature parkland.
The property spans four levels and comprises six suites. The main entrance opens into a spacious living room with fireplace, dining area, guest WC and a kitchen with access to the veranda and large terrace.
The principal suite is on the ground floor and includes a walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom, terrace and study. The other suites each have their own bathroom and sitting area, with some featuring terraces, balconies or private gardens.
The basement houses a wellness area with a swimming pool, sauna and gym. There is also a distinctive vaulted stone cellar with a fountain, laundry and drying room, and a technical room.
Between 2013 and 2015, the estate underwent a comprehensive restoration that preserved its historic features. Work included the restoration of the coffered ceiling details in the living room, the exposure of wooden beams, and the general renovation of the building, private mooring and park.
Modern technology was carefully integrated, including underfloor heating beneath the parquet flooring, smart home controls for all technical systems, an alarm system and video intercom in every room. Each room has its own thermostat for individual temperature control. A subterranean passage connects the house directly to the private beach and mooring.
