Hilltop Castle Near Brno - 14th Century Landmark

Located on an elevated site in the Olomouc region of northern Moravia, around 40 km from Brno, this stately castle has its origins as a 14th-century fortress. Preserving many original architectural features, the three-storey property offers generous interior space and has been partially restored with attention to historic detail. 

The castle includes a number of grand reception rooms with vaulted ceilings and original period features. A striking Baroque staircase connects all floors. The upper levels contain several furnished chambers with a museum-like atmosphere. 

An adjacent former riding hall has been converted into a contemporary conference space accommodating up to 600 guests. A restaurant with seating for 100 guests adjoins this area. Further features include a historic wine cellar and a separate reception building.
