Manor in Narok, Opole

Orientalising architecture was also taken up in Poland. The design of individual rooms in palaces and manor houses was typical. Especially in some larger and important aristocratic residences, one often finds an "oriental room" or a "Moorish salon".

Otherwise, Orientalism is rarely seen on facades - it was mostly taken up in Historicism in combination with Neo-Gothic, but in rather sparse execution, such as the meanwhile rebuilt
palace in Narok: to the left of the tower, you can see a balcony with a central keel arch, three slim columns and ornaments in the Moorish style, which can, however, only be seen here in rudimentary form.
