Due to advancing age, I am offering for sale by private treaty my fully renovated castle east of Munich, near Altötting and Marktl. At the price of a modest single-family home in and around Munich, this historic castle provides far greater space, quality, and individuality.

The castle is located near the metropolitan region of Nuremberg in Upper Franconia, in a state-recognized resort with good infrastructure. The construction dates back to around 1559, having been rebuilt after a fire in 1559. It was raised by one floor in the second half of the 17th century and partially renovated in 1764.

Vogteischloss Stopfenheim, built in 1716 by Franz Keller on the foundations of a 13th-century moated castle. The four-wing Baroque structure, modeled on the nearby Ellinger residence, encloses a private courtyard behind a surrounding wall.
