Manor in Prosna (Palac w Prosnie)

Palace of the von Eulenburg family between Korsze and Sępopol in today's Warmia-Masuria. Prosna (Palac w Prosnie) belonged to the country estates of former East Prussia. The manor house has its origins in the early 17th century and was extended and remodeled in the English Neo-Gothic style from about 1860. The red brick building has an L-shaped ground plan, on the short inner side there is a stately tower with a final arcaded gallery.

Prosna was also occupied by the Red Army forces and used as a state estate in the post-war years. The building has not been significantly renovated and maintained since that time, which led to its present condition. Even today, the remains reveal how richly and in detail the facade was decorated.

In the mid-90s, the castle ruins were sold by the municipality to a private owner.
