Moated Palace Haus Steinfurt
Johann Matthias von der Recke had the remains of the earlier medieval moated castle removed in 1706 and built the present manor "Haus Steinfurt". The architect was Lambert Friedrich von Corfey.
The palace includes an outer bailey with a gatehouse as well as other Renaissance buildings from the late 16th century, which today serve as living quarters.
Haus Steinfurt has been continuously owned by the von Landsberg family since 1763.
