Rural noble residences in historical Mazovia: Palace in Swidno

Mansion in classicist baroque style from the beginning of the 18th century, built for Stanisław Antoni Świdziński. The building shows some picturesque details such as parallel chimneys on a steep tin roof and a beautiful round-arched portal in the form of a Venetian window on the garden side.

Not long ago, the manor was sold. Due to renovation works in the 90's, it is in an overall acceptable condition, but moisture penetrates into the building in some places.

Also noteworthy is the landscaped park, which reveals a charmingly enchanted character during a short walk - certainly also due to its currently overgrown state. A beautiful view of the manor house and park can be seen from the country road running south in the direction of Borowe.
