Abandoned Mecklenburg Manor to be auctioned off

Steffen Seibel
State:
Prospective buyers of houses or apartments in major cities and sought-after metropolitan areas are very familiar with the situation: Although the real estate market is flooded with thousands of offers every day, seekers with special requirements often need time, luck and even more patience. In some cases even years can pass, until it comes to the key delivery of the long desired dream property. In the meantime this development reached long also the rural area. A request recently addressed to us can be found at the top of many wish lists of the "#movetothecountry movement" in this or a similar form:

We are looking for a small affordable manor house, preferably with renovation needs (no ruins) and some space around it. Preferably in Mecklenburg or Brandenburg.
The manor house in Kargow in the Mecklenburg Lake District is a property from the category Bargain castles. It could serve such a request and perhaps even bring a long-standing search to a close. With a minimum stake of EUR 68,000, one is in the running.
