Manors in Northeast Poland: Dąbrówka

In an older article, the fate of the East Prussian manor houses, which today are located close to the border with Kaliningrad, was already pointed out.

Dombrowken manor is also one of those properties that for many years did not find an investor or buyer and today are preserved only as ruins. In its heyday in the 19th century, the estate had an area of more than 1,300 hectares, the landscape park covered 5 hectares and can still be seen in rudiments today. Dombrowken was also known as one of the largest horse studs in East Prussia.

The classicist manor house from 1862 is a compact, one-story building with a dominant central part, discreet roofed portico and two faint side risalites.
