Villa Gwiazda Morza is a listed 1880 residence in Lower Sopot, now subject to full revitalisation as a boutique development of 46 luxury apartments ranging from 16 to 54 m². All necessary planning consents have been obtained.
The building
Originally constructed in 1880 as a private residence, the villa first appeared on municipal plans in 1895 and has since formed a prominent part of Lower Sopot's architectural identity. The building is protected under the local development plan and subject to heritage conservation regulations, ensuring the preservation of its distinctive architectural character.
The revitalisation scheme retains the original form of the villa whilst incorporating a sensitively designed new-build element. The completed development will combine the historic fabric of the building with contemporary living standards.
The apartments
The development will comprise 46 apartments ranging from 16 to 54 m², designed to the highest specification. All units will be connected to mains gas, municipal drainage, electricity and telecommunications infrastructure.
Location
The villa is situated at ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 61 in Lower Sopot, one of the most sought-after addresses on the Polish Baltic coast. The beach is a ten-minute walk away; Sopot railway station, with direct connections to Gdańsk and Gdynia, is five minutes on foot. The Tri-City conurbation — comprising Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot — represents one of Poland's principal premium property markets, with strong year-round demand from both residents and visitors.
