This historic palace complex in Moja Wola was built between 1854 and 1855 as one of the hunting and summer residences of Duke Wilhelm August of Brunswick-Oels. Its architecture reflects the Scottish Baronial style. It is the only known heritage building in Europe with a façade clad in oak bark. Until 1918, the estate was located in Prussia; since then, it has been part of Poland.
