This historic palace complex in Moja Wola was built between 1854 and 1855 as a hunting and summer residence for Duke Wilhelm August of Brunswick-Oels. The architecture follows the Scottish Baronial style and remains the only known heritage building in Europe with a façade clad in oak bark. The estate was located in Prussia until 1918, after which it became part of Poland.
