This historic castle complex, located between Karlovy Vary and Pilsen in Western Bohemia, evolved from a 12th-century fortress. In the first half of the 19th century, the estate was expanded with a brewery, which operated for approximately 60 years. Additional outbuildings were constructed in the 19th century, including a horse stable that remains in relatively good condition. The castle itself offers 2,200 m² of floor space, excluding the outbuildings, and the entire property spans 2 hectares.
In 2006, the roofs of the main building were renewed. However, the castle requires comprehensive restoration. It needs new electrical and water systems, heating, repairs, new windows and doors, and a refreshed façade. The heart of the property is the columned staircase featuring a ceiling fresco. Many rooms also boast vaulted ceilings with partially Baroque stucco decorations. Beneath the castle lies an old vaulted cellar.
The horse stable is in relatively good condition. The property is equipped with water and gas connections, and an electrical transformer is located at the boundary of the grounds.
The entire property with castle and outbuildings is a listed monument.
