The palazzo known as Villa Marcantonio is a prominent cultural monument in the hilltop town of Mozzagrogna, in Italy’s Abruzzo region. This monumental residence is attributed to the architect Gino Coppedè, known for his eclectic and Art Nouveau-influenced designs, particularly in Genoa and across other parts of Italy.
The villa is elevated on a high basement level and spans three main floors, offering more than 1,600 m² of living space. An additional 500 m² are available in the former stables and an annex building. The imposing main façade is defined by its elongated rectangular footprint, while the rear of the villa features a tiered structure with a decorative exterior staircase, a large open terrace on the first floor and a loggia with rounded arches on the upper level.
