Grenču Manor – Grenču Muiža – was first mentioned in historical records in 1464. In 1802, the Tsar of Russia gifted Grenču to the Knights of Courland, and it remained under the administration of the Courland Knightly Order until 1912. The last resident of the manor was Leo von Bach.
The manor house was built in 1870 according to plans by Theodor Heinrich Seyler. It is a long, single-story building with a gabled roof. Both longitudinal facades are adorned with pilasters. The property also features neo-Gothic elements, which are believed to have been added during subsequent renovations. In the post-war years, the manor served first as a cultural center and later as residential housing.
The manor is situated along National Road P121. Remnants of the former estate park separate the property from the road, which sees only moderate traffic. Behind the manor lies a pond owned by neighboring landowners. The building is currently vacant, and park restoration work has already begun.
