The castle ("pałac") is part of the cultural heritage landscape of the Jelenia Góra Valley in southwestern Poland and occupies a secluded position on a wooded hill. The estate extends across approximately 12.6 hectares of private grounds. The historic interiors and original 19th-century fittings were carefully restored in 2004 in accordance with heritage preservation requirements.
The entrance hall features a grand oak staircase with an ornate balustrade and detailed woodwork. The Danzig Salon is furnished with original pieces dating from around 1900 and adjoins a circular hall decorated with Byzantine gold mosaics. Other notable interiors include the Hunting Room with its painted timber ceiling and blue-glazed tiles, as well as the Dome Hall in the East Tower, with geometric ceiling paintings and stained-glass windows. The Orangery features white sandstone columns and a historic wall fountain.
The landscaped park was created in the 19th century and includes natural pathways, stone stairways and viewing platforms. Granite rock formations, a historic grotto with a chapel and open views extending towards Śnieżka add to the character of the grounds.
The castle currently operates as an established hotel and conference centre. It offers 30 guest bedrooms and suites with approximately 60 beds, as well as historic salons and rooms furnished with antiques. The facilities include a lift, reception area, restaurant, bar and café, together with conference and club rooms suitable for private and business events. A spacious wellness centre includes a spa, salt grotto, dry sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi. Sun terraces provide views across the Hirschberg Valley.
The property has independent gas central heating and is connected to public water, electricity, including high-voltage supply, and sewage. The buildings and grounds are well maintained, with ongoing upkeep.
The castle is approximately 70 km from the German border, 113 km from Wrocław, 118 km from Dresden, 225 km from Prague and 300 km from Berlin.
