The following information provides an overview and may vary.
Unique 15th-century building located in Palencia, within the historic Tierra de Campos region in Castilla y León.
This is the only civil building in the city with original wooden ceilings from that era. The exact original purpose of the building is not definitively known, but some local sources suggest it may have been an oratory (place of worship) dedicated to Saint Pelayo. The façade dates back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
On the ground floor, there is a well resting on carved stones, covered by a five-meter-wide arch made of Mudéjar brick. The well is four meters deep and carved from sandstone. A small niche, once used to place water jugs, is still visible. There are also two masonry wells, one of which collects rainwater.
This exceptional historic site offers creative minds the potential to create an extraordinary home or holiday property.
