Tuscany period estate with hospitality and event spaces

Villa Montalto Decumano is a country estate on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, with guest accommodation, wellness facilities and event spaces.

The main building dates to the 13th century and was altered during the Renaissance. The restoration retained historic details such as stonework, timber beams and textured finishes.

The property currently operates as a hospitality business, focused on exclusive stays for families and private groups, weddings with accommodation, events and catering, yoga and wellness retreats, corporate events and tailored stays combining dining and local experiences. Current operations and available trading data indicate the commercial potential and offer a basis for developing the concept further.

The adjoining former silk mill houses dining and reception areas, halls and the spa.

The setting is typical of the countryside between Tuscany and Umbria: a rural environment of olive groves, woodland and terraced gardens. The historic towns of Cortona and Umbertide, as well as Perugia Airport, are within easy reach.
