The regional office in Wrocław of the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR) manages around 115 listed historic properties. These include manor estates, country houses and palaces, which are gradually prepared for sale and offered for purchase through public tenders.
What to consider when purchasing a listed historic property:
- To participate in our tenders, a security deposit (wadium) must be submitted on time;
- The submission of a usage concept is a mandatory requirement for acquiring listed properties;
- It is possible to reduce the purchase price of listed properties by up to 50% and arrange for payment in instalments through KOWR;
- Buyers may also apply for grants and subsidies for renovation and conservation work, as well as benefit from tax incentives offered by various institutions.
Usage concept for listed historic properties
This document is mandatory when purchasing property from the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury. It must be approved by the regional heritage authority either before the tender date or within one month of a successful bid. The concept should include proposals for the intended use of the property, a preliminary renovation schedule and a prioritisation of planned measures.
