Haus Beckebans stands in the historic centre of Billerbeck, in the Münsterland region, first recorded in 1409. The building is a listed heritage property and is considered a significant secular building in the town.
The brick façade is built using the Specklage technique, with a stepped gable and shell ornaments dating from 1560. The house represents a transitional building type between an urban noble residence and a merchant's house. Over the years it has been restored, renovated and altered several times.
The house has 12 rooms and 4 bathrooms, with a vaulted cellar beneath part of the building. Two entrances serve the property: the main entrance from the pedestrian precinct, and a second access from the [side to be added]. Original ceiling beams remain in the hallway and in several rooms; the hallway retains its original stone floor, while the remaining rooms have solid wood flooring.
The attic offers scope for conversion, suitable for example as two maisonette flats or a studio with views of the cathedral. A courtyard allows for the addition of two or three smaller balconies. The courtyard garden has views of the church.
Suitable as a residence for a large or multi-generational family, divisible into several flats, or as premises for a business, law firm, gallery or association.

A parking space is available in front of the courtyard.
