Country house in Pakosław (Lwówek municipality, Nowy Tomyśl County) set within 8 hectares of parkland. Built in the late 19th century for Emilia Sczaniecka, a social activist and philanthropist associated with the November Uprising, the property provides approximately 670 sq m of usable space. The solid-masonry building features a rendered facade, a full basement, and a two-storey central section with a courtyard grand staircase. Its current appearance took shape around the turn of the century with the addition of side wings; the right wing was constructed as a formal extension featuring an open vaulted loggia and a reception hall.
Restoration work has commenced. One room has been completed, and a selection of windows has been replaced in accordance with heritage conservation standards. In the left wing, new floors have been laid, and several areas, alongside the basement, have been prepared for further renovation and fit-out. The high-ceilinged basement rooms feature exposed brickwork and remain dry.
The 8-hectare park includes a hornbeam avenue and mature trees, including oak, beech, hornbeam, lime, plane, pine, ash, maple, and chestnut. A large circular driveway was originally positioned in front of the house; portions of the original natural stone paving remain visible on the southern approach.
Following completion of the restoration, the property is suitable for private, commercial, or hospitality use.
